God’s Eye View Got Massive Updates Thanks To Your Contributions

We're building the window through which you can see the world. Weaving together the world's open and commercial data so you can get a remarkably complete picture of what's going on. It feels like a spy satellite simulator, something you might see in a tech thriller movie, but the underlying data is real. We have an amazing open-source community helping us extend it to now include features such as video CCTV cameras and global weather systems, recent satellite imagery, public transportation, and so much more. This is probably the most fun application of the throw on a large monitor: see just how much of the world you can experience. I describe the feeling as much like what astronauts describe when going into space for the first time and looking down upon the world. It's one heck of an overview effect. I hope you enjoy it. For everyone asking, yes, the hosted version is coming soon
